Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!.
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
The symptoms you have mentioned suggest the possibility of
acute sinusitis,The viral fever which you had earlier might predisposed to the sinusitis.
You don't need to worry much as it is readily curable condition and chance of complications are less.
I suggest you to consult a general practitioner and get the following things done:-
1.You can continue the course of tamiflu.Persistent viral fever may predispose to develop sinusitis.
2.Start a short course of antibiotics for five to seven days.
Clarithromycin is quite effective and you can very well continue that.
3.You can take
acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain and fever.
4.Nasal decongestants like
xylometazoline provide symptomatic relief.
5.You can use antihistamines like cetrezine for controlling the symptoms.
6.Do warm saline gargles or gargling with chlorhexidine containg mouthwash.
If the symptoms persist despite all these you have to consult an
ENT specialist for detailed evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
