Hello Doctor, My Name is Srikar , i do have skin allergy, my skin is some what dry and using the medicine , on those days the itching is not coming while applying ointment but other times itching is coming. so i have this kind of situation from last four years. please suggest me how can recover from this problem.
If you are allergic to something, it is advised to avoid letting the substance come in contact with your skin and use the ointment suggested by your doctor as per his advice.
To know what exactly is causing this, I would suggest you visit a dermatologist as he will be able to examine you, take history and run some tests to understand it better.
After that, he will prescribe you appropriate medicine which will improve your condition.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
