How Can Skin Burn On Bottom Lip Caused By E-cigarette Be Treated?
I have been using a disposable e-cigarette to help stop smoking for several months. I used it a lot. I have quit using it because it burned my lips and have a little sore below my bottom lip. Will it go away? Is there anything I can use for it. Should I see a doctor? My GP or a dermotoligist?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of skin burn on bottom lip caused by e-cigarette which could be due to blister and thermal burn on lips.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to to apply lip balm with SPF factor 15 and keep yourself hydrate by drinking plenty of water. You should avoid intake of sharp and spicy food. Take vitamin B12 and niacin supplement. If condition persist even after doing above treatment then consult oral pathologist for proper examination and to rule out conditions. Doctor may start treatment accordingly and take anti-inflammatory medication to prevent your symptoms. Suck on ice pops. Immediately stop licking and picking of your lips.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
