How Can Skin Flaking On Scalp, Eyebrows, Forehead And Face Be Treated?

Hi, I have a problem with my skin flaking and peeling. Occurs on the entire scalp, the inside of my ears, my eyebrows w/ part of my forehead, and my face (I m growing a beard) and it is like my face has a bad case of dandruff. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Dandruff is associated with itching... a dandruff control shampoo used frequently is helpful in most cases. Coal tar, sulphur preparations are needed in severe cases... may need dermatologists to advise in addition.

It can also be seborrheic dermatitis or eczema... which needs which need differentiation of type & severity followed by specific management by a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
