How Can Sneezing Be Treated?

Hi, My mom is continuously suffering from sneezing from the past 3 months. Her age is 50. everyday she gets around 50 sneezes/snorts. what could be the reason for this. what these symptoms are.i m planning to go for master health checkup for her.what kind of tests are required for this kind of symptoms. Earlier she suffered from stones in kidneys..but that was cured..we got to know that from scanning. i don t think that was the reason behind this. Please suggest me what kind of tests are required to know the problem of it and what medication is suggested. Thank you. Regards, Naveen Janagam.

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about allergic rhinitis.

As per you history your mon seems to be the patient of chronic allergic rhinitis.

There are certain spores present in particular time of year in environment that may be the cause. There can also be any cause like, she has been wearing any metallic jewelry, may be paint in your house or any other related things.

She needs to take the medication like levocitrizine at least for a week or two in consultation with your doctor.
She may also needs some tests related to allergies get performed.

Hope my answer will help you and visit us back if you have any further queries.

Regards
Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray.
