Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had the flu about 2 weeks ago. I have symptoms that are still lingering that won t seem to go away. Sore throat, glands and ears. Phlegm in my throats which causes coughing. No fever. Is there a chance I have something else or will it just take time to clear up?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hello,
You can do warm saline gargle. Taking warm chicken soup with pepper, lemon tea, and steam inhalation will be helpful. If not helping, then antibiotics will be required.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Nishad BN
