Hi I 58 yr old female. Have a very sore and red throat post a sinus infection after taking a Z-pack. I m 5 days post z-pack and my neck glands are tender and throat very sore. Should I seek further Medical attention or wait for the full effect of the z-pack. Drinking lots of tea with lemon and taking musinex-D for the congestion.

If fever is still there and you are having sore throat even now and you feel that it is not getting any better then you should visit your doctor again and discuss about any further medication needed or to be changed for this problem.
