How Can Soreness In The Calf Be Treated?

I have been doing drills on a treadmill--running drills--I have a sore calf and now I can t run--Calf only hurts when I run--otherwise I can t notice anything---started about 1 month ago---tried to run 2 weeks ago after resting for 2 weeks---been resting since---have been a runner for years with no pain--marathons and such

It seems as if you are having a calf muscle strain. Gradually start brisk walking while applying an analgesic gel like Diclofenac 1% and then gradually build up and see if you feel better. Use hot fomentation as needed.
