How Can Spinal Stenosis Be Treated?

I HAVE SPINAL STENOSIS IN l4 & l5 S1 DISC OUT OF PLACE AND CLOSING OF THE SPINAL CANAL CAUSING PAIN AND NUMBNESS ON RIGHT SIDE. I HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH OSTENOPENIA AND NEURO SURGEON SAY I NEED A SPINAL FUSION BUT NEED TO HAVE PROLIAS INFUSION BEFORE I CAN GET SURGERY. ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If you have osteopenia treatment of this is necessary. Though there can be many options for treatment of osteopenia, one is prolias. This is extremely effective though mostly not first line. So he is right this is best you treat the bone weakness (osteopenia) before any fixation. Role of physiotherapy should not be underestimated.
