Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Apparently because I ve been suffering so bad for 6 weeks because of my mild 15%curvature in my spine scoliosis and mild degenerative disc disease and terrible sciatica in my front thigh Drs say by stays I could have herniated 2 discs Any recommendations I had to go on tramadol for the severe pain that debilitated me but wondering if you had any advice or how long this would take to heal
In addition to pain medication, physiotherapy would be needed to help restore function.
A muscle relaxant may need to be added to the tramadol as well. Spasm of the muscles can sometimes occur in the affected area and this contributes to the pain experienced.
It can take 6 weeks to months for healing to occur unfortunately. In some persons ,especially if there are pre existing problems.
I hope this helps
