Hi! I m suffering from stammering badly. Whenever, I have to meet with a new person I become nervous and my heartbeat goes fast my hands becomes cool and I stammer always on a first word in this situation. Most humiliating thing is this that whenever I stammer I jerk my face so weirdly that I feel ashamed of it. I have seen other stammerers also they dont jerk face but I still haven t found the answer for it that why I jerk my face while stammering. I even can t introduce myself to any new person. Whenever I talk to known person I feel relaxed and calm and can talk easily without stammering. I have gone through some speech therapies but still stammering is my biggest weakness ever which is affecting my professional, personal and interpersonal life. I m waiting for your kind reply. Thanks
