How Can Stiffness In The Shoulders Be Treated?

I have a physical job that does a lot of repetitive movements. Over time my shoulders become stiff and hurt and this can go down my arm. I wake up and my arms are asleep and hurt. Sometimes one arm or sometimes both. What could this be? And how can I fix this. Thanks Jennifer

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello there,
your symptoms seem to be due to calcium , choelcalciferol , vitamin deficiency or due to decrease blood circulation or osteo-neurodegenerative process.
supplements of calcium, cholecalciferol, vitamins and warm application would be of help.
for pain you can try tablet ibugesic.
shoulder and neck exercises in morning would be great.
consulting a physiotherapist with X ray of your bilateral shoulders and cervical spine , along with serum uric acid, blood sugar would be of great help.
hope it helps.
have a good day.
regards
