How Can Stomach Cramps And Abdominal Bloating Be Treated?

I was in stomach cramp mode, since eating Thanksgiving Dinner, through to Sat. morning. Ate rich, gassy (bro./cauliflower bakes, ) foods, and red wine; hadn t eaten all day til then... Cramping stopped Sat. a.m., but still tight, in abdomen area. Is there special foods/drinks, OTC medicines, you would suggest ?!?

Hello
I have gone through your question and understand your concern. After looking at the symptoms and history of food intake, it is clear that abdominal bloating is the cause. Apart from the food like cauliflower, wine, broccoli, aerated drinks like soda and sparkling water can also cause bloating. The other factors contributing to it are binge eating, binge drinking, eating too quick without chewing, smoking, swallowing excess air while eating (which can happen over the dinner parties as we tend to talk more while we eat).
Abdominal bloating can be manged at home with OTC medications like Gas-X (contains Simethiocone 125 mg). OTC fiber supplement like Metamucil or Psyllium to avoid constipation once daily taken with glass of water at bed time. Add probiotic rich food like yogurt, sour cream and lots of whole grains to your diet to improve your over all health.
I hope the above mentioned measures ease off the symptoms and help you with quick recovery.
Thank you.
