How Can Stomach Infection Be Treated?

My family has passed around the stomache bug-profuse vomiting and diarrhea. After several hours of experiencing this myself, I now see a little blood in the diarrhea-or what s left of it. The bug seems to be lasting 2 days... but the blood in the diarrhea scares me. Do I need to be concerned?

Hi,

It is all due to gastrointestinal infection. You take Ofloxacin and Ornidazole.

You also take light meals, soup and probiotic in the diet. Maintain hydration by taking liquids especially lemon drink with a tinge of salt.

It will relieve you in a couple of days. However, if bleeding continues then report to the emergency room for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
