How Can Stomach Infection While Suffering From Diabetes Be Treated?

My husband was recently diagnosed with diabetes. He had an eye shot today and, after seeing blood running down his face, felt faint. At two o clock today all he had eaten was some Honey Nut Cheerios and some cornbread dressing. In the car on the way home he passed out twice, once convulsively. He also vomited. Now he is asleep in the bed, but I am worried that he needs something to eat or drink. Do I need to wake him and insist he eat something? Our son had a stomach virus this weekend and it could be catching.

Hi,

Control sugar with medicine and diet control. You can proceed with treatment of eye as recommended. You have to check for hyper or hypoglycemia and can go to nearest hospital available on road side and go for test. Urgent care is required as it is life threatening, so quick action is required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
