How Can Subconjunctival Hemorrhage And Headaches Be Treated?
I have been to my doctor 2/7/18 for fatigue and no sleep. I have been asked to consider doing a sleep test. In March, 2018, I had an eye doctor appointment and found that I have burst blood vessels behind my eye. I went to a retina specialist who saw the burst vessels and has recommended 6 months revisit. A week later, my eye with the burst blood vessels was swollen and painful to touch. I also have a low grade headache around my eyes that I did not notice but just feel lousy and have since January. I am a 59 yr female with Type 2 diabetes (insulin); high blood pressure and cholesteral (both controlled with meds). I have been asked to have some blood work next month, but no need to see my general MD again. Should I wait to see what the blood tests find or talk about my low pain headaches around my eyes, swollen eyes and ankles and retained water symptom? I have been having some dizziness too but blaming it on the meds. Last AIC was 7.1. That test will be done again next month.

Both diabetes and hypertension can cause hemorrhages in the Retina and also edema that is collection of fluid in your Retina and this needs treatment in the form of injections and retinal laser.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
