How Can Sudden Pain In Neck And Upper Back With Nausea Be Treated?

i woke up this morning with a sudden pain around my neck and upper back and my arms. then i felt a little nausea but could not vomit. so i sat down and put down my head. i broke out in cold sweats for 2 minutes and then the pain went away. i don't have any past medical history. this is the first time it ever happened to me. please tell me what is wrong?

This may be due to some postural strain on the cervical nerves. It does not seem to be related to any serious pathology.
