How Can Sun Burn On The Hands And Face Be Treated?
im taking doxy cycline hyc 100mg2times a day i was in the sun for one day & my arm hands & face are sunburn like on fire they just put me back on it for 7 nore days my skin feels like its on fire got a cyst cut open got infection i have been staying out of sun still burning dont no what to do

Doxycycline can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight and sunburn may result. If you need to go out in the sun again make sure you wear sunscreen and protective clothing.
You need to treat your skin like normal sunburn. An anti-inflammatory painkiller may help eg Ibuprofen . You could also try a cooling soothing cream or hydrocortisone cream. Your Pharmacist will be able to help.
