How Can Sunburn On The Nose Be Treated?

My daughter sunburnt her nose and it peeled but she now has a large scab on her nose which has got bigger and is yellow and leaking occasionally I m worried sick today a small blister has appeared at the base of her nose what can I do I ve been using antiseptic cream just really worried she said it felt tingly the other day but now it doesn t x please advise

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern.

As per your history it seems, she is now having infection to the area of sun burn.

You must not apply any sunscreen or anti inflammatory steroid ointment because it will delay the healing.

If I would have been your treatment doctor I would have prescribed Amoxycilin plus clavulinic acid combination twice daily for a week.

Total avoidance of sun exposure and also avoid peeling of the skin, visit to a dermatologist for further evaluation.
