How Can Sunburn On The Right Foot Be Treated?

I just returned from a Caribbean cruise. I have developed the sunburn blisters on the top of my right foot. Two are the size of a dime the other is a little over an inch in diameter and about 5/8 of an inch thick. I have treated them with aleo and covered them with a telfa pad. Should I go the E.R. and have them check?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Sunburn blisters are best treated by first deroofing the blister and applying an antimicrobial ointment like Mupirocin. Please keep the ulcer covered by a sterile dressing. Please give as much possible rest to your feet, and avoid wearing tight footwear till complete healing of the ulcer.
