How Can Swelling And Blisters Between The Buttocks Be Treated?

My 43-yr-old, overly-shy boyfriend , whose name I won t disclose, currently has swollen, pus-filled blisters in between the buttocks. He s apparently had this problem for awhile, and hasn t seen anyone about it, since he s extremely reluctant to tell anyone (even me) about it. What are they and how can I (or he) treat them or get rid of them?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello,
this might be infection of hair follicles ( carbuncle or folliculitis?)
it occurs due to sweat and friction in buttuck area. Also get his glucose levels checked as diabetes increases chances of such infections. i would treat such patient with antibiotics. since this drugs require prescription i would suggest you to take him to general physician.
hope this helped. if you have any further queries i ll be happy to answer
wish you good health
