Hello,

At your age bones are very fragile. Hip fractures are one of the most common fractures of your age. Since there are swelling and pain, there is a high possibility that you have a fracture. It can only diagnose on an x-ray. I would advise you to get yourself checked as soon as possible by an orthopedic surgeon. Delaying it may lead to complications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma.amman
