How Can Swelling And Pain In The Calves And Ankles Be Treated?
Hi, mid November I broke my hip after a sports related fall. I have just been cleared by the Dr for full weight bearing. However, both my calves, ankles and feet swell badly during the day, and hurt. When does this swelling usually stop being a problem? (I m a 45 yr old female). Thank you.

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.
