How Can Swelling And Pain In The Left Knee Be Treated?

I hAVE AN ARTIFICAL LEFT KNEE. tHE AREA AROUND IT IS SWOLLEN AND SORE TO THE TOUCH. iT IS HARD FOR ME TO WAK ON IT. wHAT SHOULD I DO? I HAVE BEEN ELEVATING IT AND ICING IT NOW FOR 3 DAYS. there IS LOTS OF SCAR TISSUE IN THIS AREA BECAUSE OF OTHER TRAUMA TO THIS SAME LEG.

You need to get it examined. If there is significant swelling that is not responding to the NSAIDs, then an MRI of the knee should be done in consultation with your doctor.
