How Can Swelling In The Knee Due To A Fracture Be Treated?
My knee ligament pcl have facture. I went to najreth doctor mentioned medicin but swelling not curing, as I am taking complete bed rest. I am going toilet only in one time and due to this swelling become in my foot.please tell me can it cure? My age is 55 years.
PCL tear can't be treated with medicines. Either it heals on its own or repair has to be done surgically. I don't know what your MRI report says about how much tear is there and if surgical repair is necessary.
But trust me, if left alone it does heal too. But if it gets even more worse then please choose surgery as an option since it gives permanent promising solutions. Recovery is also early.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
