How Can Swelling In The Knees Be Treated?

My husband had swelling in his knee he had no injury, x-ray showed hardly no arthritis. He had no injuries. Has taken 2 rounds of prednisone. Is now taking 600 mill of ibprophen 3 times a day. Now while taking it the swelling has gone into his foot on the same leg.

stop the medicine. drink plenty of water.what is his age and how long there is swelling you have not mention. take rhus tox 30in gloubles. 4-6 pills thrice daily for 7 days. also give not compress.if there is no improvement please do MDI and blood sugar and lipid profile test and consult with the report .thanks
