Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was hit on the forehead and upper front end of my head with a metal object two days ago. Immediate swelling and a sensation of bleeding internally. Swelling now migrating down my face to bridge of nose, left eye beginning to go black and blue. I take a blood thinner - plagril. What should I make of the migrating swelling?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I suggest you to put ice in the lower part of your eyes. You should have done that just after being hit, but at least do it now, for 5 min. Visit doctor and do at least a complete blood count and radiography of the head.
I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions. Regards, Dr. Anila Skenderi
