How Can Swelling On The Side Of The Tongue Be Treated?

i have something on the side of my tongue. My brother had it and so did my niece. It hurts when i drink ,eat, swallow, and spit. When i wake up in the morning it is big. But through out the day it gets smaller. Today is the second day i have it. what is it and how do i fix it? It now anything big like . It hurts a lot ! Tell me all the possible things it might be.

The swelling on the side of the tongue can be a traumatic fibroma or a mucocele. Nothing to be panic, consult an oral physician and get it evaluated. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, we can treat accordingly.
