How Can Swollen Foot, Painful Ankle Due To Cold Weather Be Reduced With History Of Having Gout Which Subsided Without Medicines?

I had gout about 2 weeks ago but could not take anti inflamatory because I am taking Pradaxa - bloodthinner and finally after about 10 days it subsuded but now because it is so cold here in Canada and snowy same foot became swollen and painful in the ankle, is there any thing I can use to reduce the swelling? Wjhich is hot or cold compress.

Hello there!
I am dr Khan and want you to know that these cold exposures avoidance is all you need. warm feet stockings and topical vasodilators will be enough to relieve these swellings. Leather stockings are available to keep the feet warm. Its called raynaurds phenomeno and it is common in people. so no worries.
just precautions and all set.
