How Can Temporary Plaster Cast On Foot Be Loosened?
I have a Lisfranc fracture in my right foot. I stepped into a hole and it apparently twisted the wrong way in order for it to have misplaced two of my toe bones to the right causing them to push up against my other bones in my foot. Went to the hospital, said I might need surgery since it s the worst way to break a foot, they tried to put a walking boot on it but my foot wouldn t go flat enough for me to get my foot in there. So they ended up wrapping it up in one of those temporary casts that harden. But I myself think it ended up being too tight around the ankle/top of foot part and causing it to cut my circulation off whenever I elevate it.. I was wondering if there was any way that I could possibly take it off and put it back on to where it isn t so tight around that part of my foot?
You can not loosen and fit again the plaster cast which is mandatory for your healing process of internal damage. You can consult office of your doc for the issue and he or she may guide you best possible way to handle the cast ahead without agony of pain.
