How Can Tenderness And Dryness Around The Heels Be Treated?

The outside of my heels are tender and is very dry, I think it s because I bath about four times a day in trying to rid myself of parasites. I m going to the doctors this week, but I would like to know the name of the issue on my heels getting so dry and flakey, and now feeling tender. I tried sanding them with the proper dry foot sander, but it feels weird and makes me want to stop trying to smooth the roughness. I want to research this, but don t know what to call it. Help? Stupid of me even to think that I might be able to get help from your site. money, money, money.... I m old and poor. And very stupid to think that you would help me.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Please do not thing that we would not advise you since you are poor and old. It is our duty to be of service to all needy people irrespective of any payment. We are most willing you help you free of cost. I do not think that you could be having any parasites one the outside aspect of your heels. The dryness is in all probability due to frequent washing of the feet. The dry and flaky skin is causing tenderness. Please just wash your feet once a day. You should keep the skin of your feet soft and supple and most cost effective is Vaseline. You can apply it on the heels, plantar and dorsal aspect of your feet at least two to three times a day. This would greatly help you. Please wear soft insoled footwear. If required you may consult a Dermatologist to rule out any fungal infection or dermatitis of the skin of your heels.
