How Can Tennis Elbow Be Treated?

I have self diagnosed my condition via the internet and looks like I have tennis elbow . Everything the narrator mentioned is what I was experiencing from the time I noticed gradual dull pain (for two weeks) and working up to a massive intense pain last night after I exacerbated the left elbow doing repetitive pushing and pulling an object. The swelling started and I immediately put ice to calm the swelling and pain. I used a topical arnica ointment for inflammation and homeopathic oral inflammation tablets 3 every hours until the pain subsided. I also used a low frequency unit called infratonic to ease the pain during the night when sleeping. When I got up this morning I noticed flexion on that arm was OK however, extension was stiff and a level of 7 pain. What else can I do to expedite healing time. I cannot depend on my 82 year old husband to help me with my own ADL s let alone cooking and housekeeping. Much appreciation for your opinion. Johanna

hey Johanna
as I have understood your problem it looks like tennis elbow from your questions
use ice packs
also get an elbow stabilising belt that partially immobilises your elbow to restrict inflamed area from getting worse

ideally you should get an MRI scan done
but if that’s not possible just use the stabiliser and ice pack it should help you recover fast
include aspirin for pain and inflammation only if you don’t have any kidney problem

feel free to revert back with your questions

best regards
