How Can Tension Headaches Be Treated?

having serious tension headache lasting all night and most of the next day. My eyes are a bit yellow also. I am and have been sober for awhile. I am trying a natural colon cleanse. i also was taking saw palmetto, fish oil, and my Vit d-25 levels were at 89ng/ML as of 11/01/17. I also started working out again after a couple month layoff. Although I didn t get very outa shape. I have not been pushing to hard either, because I have learned from the past and take it slow now. I am attempting to lower my caffeine intake which was very high, but have not quit caffeine.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You should consult to a neurologist because it could be a case of migraine. Migraine respond often to another group of medication different than NSAID and Antidepression medicine. Migraine cause vasocontraction of arteries and pain. The name of this medication is Ergots such as dihydroergotamine or ergotamine with caffeine (Cafergot).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
