Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Sir I have left testicular pain from last 2months and I consulted a general physician and he prescribed me levoflocacin and banocide Forte but situation not improving at all so I do usg of scrotum and my report is left sided funiculitis and testicular microlithiasis so what can I do now sir. Please suggest me.
Going by the results of your ultrasound, antibiotic and an NSAID such as Ibuprofen are good choices so far as your funiculitis is concerned. Doxycycline is a good option for an antibiotic.
Testicular microlithiasis usually do not require any treatment if it is asymptomatic. Testicular self-examination is recommended until you get a clean chit from your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.
Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma,
