How Can The Tear Of Medial Meniscus As Shown On MRI Be Treated?

I have been diagnosed via an MRI to have a large complex tear of the medial meniscus, predominantly involving the body and anterior horn. Prominent degree of intrameniscal T2 signal within the lateral meniscus. Moderate chondromaiacia along the central & central to posterior weight bearing surface of the lateral femoral condyle & milder chondromaiacia in the medial compartment & patella. What are my potential treatment options?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
You need a arthroscopic menisectomy. In this procedure with the help of arthroscope meniscus is excised. A little peripheral rim remains for further functioning. You will also need to get debridement of the damaged cartilage. This is quite safe surgery and does not need rest post operative. If you do not get this surgery in time then this tear will progress .
