How Can Thinning Of Hair Be Treated?
I received kenalog injections for allergies 3 every 4 months in the last year and now my hair is extremely thinned out and I have skin rashes on my face and legs, I am getting married soon and my hair is so thin and I am having low cortisol levels as well , can this all be caused from the kenalog injections? And how can I reverse these symptoms? Unfortunately I was not informed about the side effects . I appreciate any info you can advise me with. Thank you, Sally

Steroids can cause those symptoms. So be careful while using steroids. Take it only if the benefits outweigh risk. Discuss this with your doctor.
Minoxidil (Rogaine) 5% is the only topical medication approved by the FDA for female-pattern hair loss. The Once-Daily use foam treatment regrows hair in 81% of the women who try it.
Liquid options of 2% and 5% solutions are available over the counter. Minoxidil works by prolonging the growth phase of hair -- providing more time for hair to grow out to its full density.
You have to be patient, as noticeable results usually take three to four months and the product must be used once a day. It tends to work better if started early.
