How Can Thinning Of Hair Be Treated?

My thinning hair is genetic. I have it in my temples. I have a huge spot on the crown and to the lower right of the crown. I use nioxin now and may have loss hair follicles. Can those grow back? stylist says once he follicule is gone ther is nothing that can be done. I use a semi- permenant by Clairol to cover these spots. I was told that the problem started bc I wore my hair in a top knot for years bc I can not have hair on my neck bc I get to hot. I wear it in a comb at the crown and usuaslly flip the rest up with a barratte(?). I would put the top knot on once my hair air dried for awhile and often left it that way or several days bc I work at home and often never went out. I do not no how long the bald spot was there bc one day my husband said I looked great except for the bald spot. Men.

You have thinning of hair as per query which is known as alopecia problem, could be generic and could be due to stress leading to patches known as alopecia areata and trichotillomania . I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may order skin patch test , and do physical examination. Doctor may prescribe you drug like finpecia at least for 3-4 months or anti fungal treatment along with minoxidil spray. Take supplements like Vitamin A ,Omega-3 and Vitamin E. Take Indian goose berry powder with water once a day and use almond oil.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
