How Can Throat Discomfort Be Treated?

On Monday, August 28th, I took my Tamoxifen pill before I went to bed. I think it went into my windpipe rather than down my throat. Still feels like it is in my throat. I have been drinking lots of water. Breathing has not been a problem, but I am coughing a lot. At this point, throat does not hurt, but really would like to have this resolved as it has been over a week now.

This problem is not related to your pill. This is due to sore throat. First you should take plain paracetamol tablet for reducing pain and inflammation, avoid any cold food, gargles with some salt in lukewarm water may be beneficiary. If still persists, go for throat swab culture and sensitivity testing and take antibiotics accordingly. This will definitely help you to resolve your present medical problem.
