How Can Thyroid Cancer Be Avoided?

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism approximately 10 years ago. I was prescribed 50mcg of Synthroid at that time. Approximately 2 years ago, my dosage was increased to 75mcg a day, then a few months ago my dosage was raised to 88mcg. I am now taking 100mcg a day for the past two weeks and I am scheduled for another tsh test next month. I am concerned as to whether or not I may be at risk for thyroid cancer. Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Hi. Please do not worry. Hypothyroidism is not directly related to cancer. Increasing dose of thyroxin indicates that ur thyroid function is decreasing progressively. Ur tablet will keep the TSH level low. That will decrease the growth of cancer. Dont worry.
