How Can Thyroid Dysfunction Be Treated?

I was taking levothyroxine 125 for hypothyroid. I decided to stop taking my pharmacy medications in march. My last lab test was taken the end of April. My T4 free was 0.6 and my TSH 116.4. I was told to get back on my thyroid medication, I wanted to do natural therapy instead. I have been taking Maga Food Thyroid Strength. I was advised to also take Thytrophin PMG. Will this work for me? I also have Osteoporosis and I m taking MRM Vegan Bone Maximizer.

Dear Patient,

I suppose you are affected by an autoimmune thyroid disease, called Hashimoto disease. Unfortunately, this is a chronic inflammation of your thyroid, that leads to a chronic and irreversible dysfunction. This condition needs an hormone replacement therapy. Thus, every other medication may assist, but cannot be substitutive, of the hormone therapy. Remember, thyroid is like the regulator of an energy plant...that in your case is your body.

Let me know,

Andrea
