How Can Tingling Sensation In The Thumb Be Treated?
Hey, I had a potential scaphoid break splinted yesterday and from the evening have had pins n needles in my thumb, I have taken the splint half hour ago, in case it was too tight causing it but I still have pins n needles...should I bother anyone with this?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You don't have to bother more because usually, splints will definitely be little tight. If it is causing you so much discomfort then you can go for loosening but only numbness for some time doesn't need to be corrected. See for two more days and then go to the doctor.
Hope this information helps you sort out your problems. If you feel it’s helpful then kindly give me a user thank vote. Happy Health! Regards, Dr. Archana
