Hi, I m really bad with doctors hate going to see them, I have really bad tonsillitis, I get at atleast once every 3 to 4 months, I ve had it so many times but don t always go to the doctors about it have done twice, this time round I have been really ill, they are swollen a lot, they are full of yellow white puss spots. My chest is really hurting along with my ear and I had loads of small circle red marks come up on my leg that keep coming and going but they re not lumps or spots. Will this go away on it s own?

General Surgeon 's  Response
If you are having recurrent Tonsillitis, the solution is surgical removal of the tonsil by an ENT surgeon. In the mean time, you can reduce the discomfort presently you are having by warm saline gargling at least 5 minutes three times a day. You can take Tab Paracetamol 650 mg twice a day x 2 to 3 days for pain, fever, headache, an at the earliest consult the ENT surgeon for onward management.
