General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Tonsillitis is an inflammation of your tonsils and most often it is due to bacterial infection. It will respond well to antibiotics and MX3 capsules doesn’t have any role in tonsillitis. You can start a short course of antibiotics preferably Amoxicillin. Take analgesics like Paracetamol for pain. Do warm saline gargles for symptomatic relief. Generally symptoms will resolve with these measures and if persist, consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

Wishing you good health.

Thanks.
