I had a broken tooth they had to do a root canal on. Now the oral surgeon said the tooth on either side is dying. They did a root canal on one and will probably do the other on Monday. My concern is now a fourth tooth is feeling pain, the next one in line. I wonder if I need to see an MD about nerve damage or bone issues.
Hello, I completely understand your concern about the toothache. Dental pain surely annoys you. Reading your question, I guess you have a high carries index which is why the dentist has suggested you for a root canal treatment. There would be a deep cavity in your tooth which is why you feel the pain. I do not suspect any bone or neurological damage. Get your dental x-ray done and depending upon the depth of the cavity , the doctor would suggest you to go in for a simple filling or a root canal treatment. The earlier you visit a dentist, the better it is ! Hope this helps. Take good care
