Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

As you are due to surgery, please follow the medicine prescribed and continue ice packs to reduce pain.

Post surgery, shoulder rehabilitation under a guided Physiotherapist should give better outcome score.

For now, use an ice pack, have the prescribed medication, you can discuss with your surgeon for taking TENS therapy which will help reduce pain. Immobile the shoulder in the shoulder sling too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
