How Can Trigger Finger And Tingling Sensation In The Arms Be Treated?

I was cutting some vegetables, when I put the knife down my fingers became twisted and bent and very painful. My attempt to straighten my fingers caused a great deal of pain. After a few minutes they finally relaxed and I was able to straighten them but the muscles feel very strained and it feels like it could happen again at any moment. I do have tingling up the underside of my arm to the elbow. How do I (1) prevent this from happening (2) relieve it if / when it happens again. Is this going to be a long term problem? Is it something I need to get treated?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Trigger finger can be treated with splints, NSAID drugs like Ibuprofen and ice pack application will be helpful.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
