Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Age 45 height 170 weight 56KG. 6 months back done blood test and noticed triglycerides - 230 LDL 130 and HDL is 31. Not taking any medicine so far and controlling the food and little bit of walking. I believe weight should be at least 62 for my height and age. What is the best way of diet to increase weight and reduce triglyceride?
hello there, the best way to decrease bad cholesterol in our blood is to exercise daily, half hour walking or jogging or any any other type in morning and evening. avoid oily, fried, chips, alcohol. intake of vegetables , pulses and fruits is best. preferably boiled non veg but without fat that it has, will be good to get the protein requirement and improve your health and weight. warm water intake early morning on waking up. as far as weight is concerned it seems fine let your body take its own course to gain weight. hope it's helpful. regards
