my 18 month old had a fever of 39.2 on sun and mon, gave capol, Dr said no ear infection. today she has a rash, small red dots on her trunk but nowhere else. fever has gone and appetite slightly improved, very clingy and wont take bottle, only mum - any ideas
It is a part of fever and will settle once fever subsides. As of now antipyretic like paracetamol can be given, generally it is viral in origin and will settle by two or three days. If lesion persists better to consult a pediatrician and get evaluated.
