Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

Persisting fever after 2 weeks of typhoid therapy with evening rise of temperature demands looking into other causes of fever like tuberculosis/secondary complications of typhoid like septicaemia,meningismus,hepatitis/typhoid by drug resistant bacteria.

I recommend you to get his blood haemogam, blood culture, liver function tests,ESR test and chest X ray done.Specific management will depend on results of these tests.Drug resistant typhoid may be treated by cefuroxime azithromycin for 7 days. You may visit physician in that regard.

Normally ,uncomplicated Typhoid fever is treated by course of antibiotics like cipro/ofloxacin/chloramphenicol for 7-10 days.Resolution of symptoms generally occurs by end of 1 week in 90% of cases.
Maintain adequate hydration, small frequent meals as there is decreased appetite.
Take soft, well cooked semi solid food for easy digestion.
Follow all food safety measures while cooking, handling, storing or eating food.

Hope this information helps.
