The management of ulcerative colitis depends upon the symptomatic severity as an acute flare-up requires an intravenous antibiotic, fluids and supportive measures.
While those of chronic cases, simply get control with specific medications as sulfasalazine or else.

How Can Ulcerative Colitis And Spinal Stenosis Be Treated?
Hello, The management of ulcerative colitis depends upon the symptomatic severity as an acute flare-up requires an intravenous antibiotic, fluids and supportive measures. While those of chronic cases, simply get control with specific medications as sulfasalazine or else. The spinal stenosis with such intense pain requires surgery after MRI evaluation by an expert spine surgeon. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
